Brijdd's venture accelerators are designed for passionate, determined entrepreneurs with a strong bias towards execution rather than just ideation and an invincible belief that an inclusive equitable future is essential. Brijdd delivers a personalised concierge acceleration experience, where we invest our time, energy, and network entirely in the growth of portfolio enterprises.
When you click an Apply Now button across Brijdd Accelerator programmes, you probably expected a form, like its mostly done out there! Yes, we have been there too. So we committed ourselves to developing a process that is simple, works for all and we continue to refine it as our cohorts graduate from the programmes.
Here are 6 things you should know about the Brijdd Accelerator application process
You don't need to fill a long winding application form. Follow the information pointers and guidance provided to complete your submission
There are 3 important areas around which we would like you to inform us in your application. You - the founder, Your product (or idea - in case you do not have a prototype yet); Your venture/organisation & Your Team
You can use any submission mode - word doc, pdf doc, audio file, video file. whatever you are comfortable with works for us. this does not in anyway affect the application. refer to submission guidance mentioned below. You must use only one submission mode for all information. If you choose audio then all your information must be in audio files, same applies to video or document
Give yourself 20 - 30 minutes to complete the application depending on the mode you are using to complete the application. You will only do this only once (refer to the next point)
Yes, you got that right, we only accept ONE application from a venture/entrepreneur. Updates to the same application can be submitted if requested at a later date! so please do not submit multiple applications. Our team keeps engaging with all our applicants and portfolio ventures to match them to their ideal accelerator programmes and other Brijdd entrepreneurial ecosystem sessions and events. The acceleration team engages with you to ensure that progress you make with your venture is updated frequently to help you build and scale your venture and you are connected to other ecosystem support provided by Brijdd for its participants.
You can either submit your application for a specific accelerator depending on your interest, location, sector or needs or complete a general application and our Acceleration team will review your application and connect with you to match you to the best suited accelerator programme for you. If there is a specific accelerator you are interested in - mention that in your submission email. If you are submitting a general application - mention "applying for a relevant accelerator" in the subject line of your email and Brijdd acceleration team will take it from there.
If your application is unsuccessful for the upcoming rounds - that happens a lot since the evaluation process is rigorous! Like we mentioned in the previous point, we will work with you through appropriate engagements through some of our entrepreneurial community and ecosystem development programmes, that prepare entrepreneurs for the next leg of their path to success. We host a variety of sectoral and skill specific accelerators on a continuous basis to help early stage entrepreneurs build their venture.
Application Guidance
There are 3 information areas we need you to cover in your application. If you are still at the idea stage, you will only need to cover 2 information areas.
I. The first information area is about you, the founder
Help us know you a little bit and also provide your contact information (we need to know who we are engaging with!). Some information pointers - full name, your email and phone number, where in the world you are currently - postal code, location (city/town/village), country. If you have a linkedin profile, add that (this is not mandatory, sometimes it helps get some additional context on your profile)
Also mention, what is your current entrepreneurship status - are you a student exploring the possibility of giving your idea some shape or you have a full time or a part time job or this idea/venture is your full time occupancy.
Add some relevant information on your professional journey till date (organisations/sectors/ roles) and why this venture route motivates you
How can Brijdd help you - what support are you looking for
length of this section in your submission should not exceed - half a page (if it is a MS Word/pdf); 1 minute audio or video
II. The second information area is about your product/solution
Help us with relevant information on your product/idea or solution. If you product or solution is at an idea state at this point, we will initially consider you only for a SeedSprint weekend accelerator programme or Brijdd Idea Swarms.
Some information pointers to help with your submission. depending on the stage your solution is in, help us with the following information. This is relevant for all ventures/ideas applying to Brijdd Accelerators
what problem are you solving (or intending to solve) and how many people or businesses have this problem
how will you solve this problem
who will use your product or solution
how will you make money
who will pay for your solution and how much - give us a range, if relevant
how many times in a year does an average customer pay you
who else is doing what you are wanting to do/or doing (please don't say - there are no competitors! Others might not be doing exactly what you are doing or intending to do, however if you look around, you are sure to find someone doing something similar to you. In your submission mention how your solution improves on or offers higher/better value compared to other solutions in the market
in 3 years how many users (customers) would have used your product or solution
Your expected annual revenue this year (how much money would you make this year. we understand not all ventures make money the first year or even the second year, if your solution justifies that, tell us here)
if you have a product demo or images, flowchart or brochure for your product/solution attach it to your submission. This is not mandatory but helps your application submit any one relevant option. please do NOT submit multiple docs or files, that reduces your chances of success! select the most appropriate representation and submit that with your application

III. The third information area is about your venture
This is relevant for all ventures (registered companies, partnerships or nonprofits) applying to Brijdd Accelerators. This is not applicable for idea stage applications
Venture Name
Venture website URL or app (not mandatory, but preferred)
Registration year and number
Introduce your core team - cofounders or people reporting to you and what makes it a relevant team to solve this problem. don't have a team yet? who are you looking for to help you solve the problem you are focussed on
Have you made any money till date through your proposed solution. If yes, how much (mention the currency and the figure)
How much are you currently spending every month on an average
What have you learnt from your users/customers till now
How many customers/users do you have till now and if you can provide a monthly growth rate (not all ventures can do) include it here.
Have you raised any funds till date for your venture till date - provide some specific if you have - investors and quantum of funds raised

How to submit your application
email your submission to venture@brijdd.com with the following details
subject line of email for general application where you would like the Acceleration Team to match you with a relevant accelerator programme - Applying for a relevant accelerator
subject line of email for specific accelerator application - Applying for "Provide the Accelerator Programme Name"
provide your contact details in the body of the email - full name, phone, location (city/town, postal code and country)
3 audio or video files, not exceeding the length mentioned in the guidance. please refer to the submission mode guidance provided under 6 things you should know....
Naming of all files submitted - email username_founder; email username_solution; email username_venture (for example if the email you are using to submit your application is jane123@abctest.com then jane123 is your email username. so your first file will be named as jane123_founder)
If you are submitting a product demo or images or brochure - name it as email username_solution_details
hit the send button on your email after you have checked the above!
you will receive an acknowledgement within few minutes of submitting your application. This means we have received your submission!
What happens next?
Members of our acceleration team will review your application and inform you on the current status of your application. This can take up to 12 weeks from submission. But you will receive a response to your application

We might ask you for more information
You might be added to a waiting list for an appropriate accelerator
You might be shortlisted for a review - the review can be conducted in up to 3 sessions depending on the needs of the specific accelerator programme you have applied for or are matched with
Depending on the outcome of the review, you might be
admitted directly to an accelerator programme
waitlisted for next round of cohorts
recommended for a second review for an accelerator different from the one you have applied for.
